![]() I wish the sold the other earbuds that have the USB in the case. The only thing I can think of what happened is it fell in a puddle for about 4 seconds. Great job Soundpeats yet again killing the game in the earbud world especially when it comes to affordability.Update: My left earbud doesn t hold a charge anymore. If your budget is $40 don t even waste your time trying to get anything other than these especially if you re a bass head. Reviews had said the bass on these are better than some of the higher tier Soundpeats so that definitely sold me on these especially for the price. My next ear buds will be a more high end priced Soundpeats to see what those are like. In my opinion the logo design is bold and looks very high quality. Loved the logo on the Soundpeats True Engine 2s. Would rather had the full S logo rather than half S but not a big deal at all just please never change the S logo. Usually with ear buds if you EQ the bass you lose treble and mids or when the bass hits the treble and mids are overwhelmed with bass for a second definitely not the case with these. You can freely play with the EQ and you won t lose any mid or treble quality at ALL!!! The bass is very resonate which is what I like. These things are small and the BASS is rediculous especially if you use your EQ settings in your phone. I might these minis and I am overly impressed. Not to mention the sound didn t compare what so ever to sound peats. I dropped my left earbud once and it broke. I disrespected Soundpeats and tried a different brand Tozo. I dropped them many times even from the 2nd story and never had an issue. That was with constant use everyday at work. The lasted me a year until the batteries in the earbuds lost juice. From there, I made a matching line 2 inches to the left to mark the front of the stand.I first had the Soundpeats True Engine 2. Then I drew a line with a straight edge that connected that mark to the bottom right corner of the board. To create the angle, I measured in 1 inch along the top right edge of the board and made a mark. Mark a line on the vertical board at the top of the base and use this line as the “floor” of your design-everything below it will be inset into the base board.įor purely aesthetic reasons, I wanted my stand to lean forward slightly. ![]() The easiest way to measure this is to place the base board on a flat surface, face down, and stand the vertical piece up next to it. This tenon should be the same height as the base is thick. You’ll also need to add a tenon to the bottom, which is an extension that will slide into a slot in the base board to join the two pieces together. Numerous shapes work, as long as they are vertically stable and have a wide enough area on top to hold your headphones. ![]() Draw the basic shape of your vertical stand. (Optional) red mahogany wood stain (or the stain or oil of your choice). If you do not, or are otherwise uncomfortable with anything described here, don’t attempt this project. If you’re using power tools, you must know how to use them safely and correctly. At minimum, that may include safety glasses, a face mask, and/or ear protection. Before proceeding with this or any other project on our site, ensure you have all necessary safety gear and know how to use it properly. Warning: DIY projects can be dangerous, even for the most experienced makers. It’s also an excellent use for some of that scrap wood you’ve been “saving for later.” The basic project isn’t terribly difficult, and making one is a great way to practice your design skills. Going all-out, I added some upgrades, including a charging port, phone stand, and pencil holders. (OK, I admit, it is clutter.) But I didn’t want something that took up precious desk space yet served only one function. So I built a stand to keep my headset contained when not in use, which might be the first step in a longer journey toward getting the clutter on my desk under control.
